The new breathtaking novel from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the This Man trilogy

Livy notices him the moment he walks into the coffee shop. He's heart-stoppingly stunning, with a blue-eyed gaze so piercing she's almost too distracted to take his order. When he walks out the door, she thinks she'll never see him again. Then she finds the note he left on his napkin . . . signed M.

All he wants is one night to worship her. No feelings, no commitment, nothing but pleasure. Every defense mechanism Livy has adopted during her solitary life is at risk of being obliterated by this confounding man. He's obnoxious but well-mannered. He's a gentleman but aloof. He's passionate but emotionless. Yet the fascination is so powerful, Livy can't deny him . . . or herself.

M awakens something in Livy, something deep and addictive that she never knew existed-and that she fears only he can satisfy. But she senses that behind the fast cars, fancy suits, and posh apartment, he's aching inside. To have him, body and soul, she'll have to brave his dark secrets. Delving into his world and breaking down his defenses become her obsession-an obsession that could shatter her heart beyond repair . .

    Loved it.
  • Great story!

This book was so interesting and different from the This Man trilogy. I loved it. Just as much as I did the Stark Trilogy...really good.
  • Jodi ties music into her stories ❤️

I love how Jodi uses music throughout her stories. I always jump over to iTunes and listen while I'm reading which adds a dimension and really takes it up a notch for me. I've compiled an awesome playlist between 'One Night' series and 'This Man' series. I enjoy the British jargon too 🇬🇧 Can't wait for her next series.
  • Don't bother

This book was a disappointment !! How did it get so many good reviews? Know I feel I can't trust people's reviews. The book was wordy and kept waiting for a problem, and finally at the end we get something but it was not enough. The book does have lots of sex but it was truly disappointing !!!

I was amazed at how much I loved this trilogy, Olivia & Miller two very different but amazing characters,(can't forget Nan) & the amazing love story that surrounds them, how could you not love? But after reading the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy & looking for other books to read I was certain I would never come across another romance book that I would love as so, but Jodi Ellen Malpas has proven me wrong. I'm glad I came across this brilliant author & her books, will be moving on to the This Man trilogy & I know it won't disappoint.
  • How did this book get so many good reviews???

I could hardly finish this book. It was so boring and I was so annoyed by Miller with the way he would grip the back of Livy's neck and walk her around like some kind of animal! Who would allow that? Livy is so immature with no backbone and just needs to grow up. I also couldn't stand Miller's rude behavior or his OCD issues. I cannot believe how many good reviews this book has. I was annoyed throughout this whole book but I kept reading since I paid for it, hoping it would get better. What a waste of time and money.
  • The final chapter was intense. I wish the rest of the story had the same intensity.

If your seeking a story about sex than you will love this one. You will find very little information about Miller, but plenty about Livy. The relationship has not developed past the bedroom, so not sure a connection can be made other than a physical one. It's a cliche beginning, where a gorgeous and wealthy man wants to propose a one night stand with the beautiful and poor woman who works at a diner. The over confident and arrogant man is proud to finally break the woman of her constant uncertainty for the one night promise. Livy wants more and he can only offer the one night. Another cliche issue. The seduction is the best tease from this story. It's Livy's first time being with a man who wants to worship her body. Well Jodi has rendered me entranced by that one statement,"savored, not rushed". Worshipped and seduced are more words of enchantment that Jodi uses to pull me in. I enjoy the parts where Miller wants to worship Livy. The most difficult part in reading this story is the holding back on personal information about Miller. Rather than it being intriguing it's frustrating and repetitive. I love the British language it's bloody good. Jodi needs to stop trying to convince me how perfect Miller is. Or how good he is at worshipping her. It's not working for me and no matter how much you try to convince me of his greatness I'm not going to care when Miller shows his weakness to Livy. Build him up all you want because I will not fall for it. Not liking Livy. As soon as Millers attention is not on her she gets bored. As soon as an opportunity presents itself to snoop she does. Livy accepts Millers habits and simple lifestyle yet she gets suspicious when all he asks is for her to trust him. Chapter twenty-five was the best part of the entire story. If Jodi had written all the other chapters with the same intensity then it would have been marvelous.
