  • Great story ruined by amateurish reproduction

    By DrBobtheCurmudgeon
Previous reviewers seem to have given this copy more than a single star since it was free, but it deserves no such kindness. The typos, misspellings, incorrect punctuation, and erratic paragraphing have no place in literature, anywhere. This is a mess and a complete disservice to Philip K. Dick.
  • Worth a Read, But BYOSC

You’re probably looking up this short story because it’s the basis for two movies. It’s an interesting enough mini-plot, but bring your own spell check — it’s riddled with typos, which make me wonder if it the transcription is completely accurate. Still, I was surprised to discover that the first movie inspired by this story actually incorporated a lot of its details (much more so than the second movie). It’s free, so you have nothing to lose but 10–20 minutes for a quick read.
  • Ignore some typos

Just for everyone to know, this short story was actually written in 1966. It's a nice little story that shows the origin of total recall (no it wasn't a movie first)
  • Needs an editor.

Great that it's free but it needs some serious editing. Also missing italics, etc. Why iPad only? But at least it's free . . .
  • Ehh.

Great story but whoever typed this out and published this iBook should get an editor. If I paid for this I would give even less stars but I guess you get what you par for.
