  • Description

“It's like Sasha Baron Cohen on the internet.” - Jane Wells, CNBC When John Lindsay launched in June 2009, it became an instant sensation. With 60% of the book featuring entirely new material never before available on the website, Emails from an A*****e offers fans a fresh opportunity to revel in people's gullibility. Posing as a customer or seller, Lindsay responded to a variety of classified ads, making ridiculous offers to unsuspecting victims. Their responses, and the ensuing conversations, will have readers simultaneously laughing non-stop and gasping with disbelief.

I will read this to the end of my life...
    • It is an arsehole

      By Croat1991
Well, it is a very honest title. It says an "arsehole" and thats exactly what it is. A book written by an arsehole....fair enough...

Funniest book I have read in ages.
    • Eh.

      By R.T.Smith
It was ok, but the humor was a bit juvenile and unoriginal. I felt like the author was trying to be funny like "Ted L. Nancy" (Letters from a Nut). He was nowhere close.
    • Hilarious!

This was funny. I laughed out loud a lot when reading it.
    • It's alright, but it gets old..

      By Themusicpainter
This book started out with great potential (think Letters From A Nut) but after a couple of the letters, it just started getting repetitive. It would have been better if he didn't just be a jerk to random people, but actually compiled e-mails from the genuinely crazy/unreal people (and there are many out there -- the ones in this book are really funny). For $3, it's not a bad buy, and is a quick and easy read.

Some of the emails where really funny.. But only some of them. It's a fun idea though. And I guess it was worth the $3 for it.

There is no way you can read this book in one sitting. I could only read as much as a stories at a time. I laughed so hard my head would start to pound. Very very funny. Never look at Craigslist the same.
