Just after midnight, a snowstorm stops the Orient Express dead in its tracks in the middle of Yugoslavia. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for this time of year. But by morning there is one passenger less. A 'respectable American gentleman' lies dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, his door locked from the inside . . . Hercule Poirot is also aboard, having arrived in the nick of time to claim a second-class compartment -- and the most astounding case of his illustrious career.

This update, that updated the cover art to advertise the upcoming Johnny Depp movie had a catastrophic effect on the text. The Dedication and Part One, of three parts, are deleted and the "Contents", "Bookmarks" and "Notes" cannot be accessed. In other words, at least one third of the novel is missing. The book was fine before the update. NEEDS FIXING!!!

Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express is by far one of the best murder mysteries I have ever read! The intricate overlap of characters, backgrounds, and motives make for a suspenseful read. The final chapter will leave you shocked and overwhelmed! A MUST readπŸ˜†πŸ˜πŸ˜

When a man is found murdered on the Orient Express, it's up to retired detective, Hercule Poirot, to solve the crime. But there are too many possible suspects, too many complications, and too much evidence. And when a dirty secret from the past of the murdered man is revealed, things become more confusing than ever; except for Poirot, that is. This book had me guessing and guessing and guessing from the very start. Twelve suspects all together on the same train, all with motive and means. But only one could have done it . . . Or maybe not? I guarantee that you won't be able to put this book down until the very end. Hats off to Agatha Christie for a truly wonderful mystery, as always! :)
