I'm a Doctor Who fan. I've been buying the books since I turned 13. I've watched the TV Show long enough to know that some point in life, there's got to be a resolution to all cliffhangers, and books are the way to do it. If you're a Doctor Who fan, like myself, and are craving for new adventures of The Doctor, these Free Comic Book Day's are a gift available to all Whovians, whoever you are and wherever you are, I recommend you get this!

For anyone who’s new to the Doctor and his companions, this makes a great primer not only to the era of the revival (2005-present and counting), but also to the classic era and its eight Doctors. Longtime fans will also enjoy it, just as advertised. Twelve could’ve been drawn a bit better, but aside from that all four stories are excellent; the writers each got their Doctor’s personality pretty close to perfect. And having a cameo by Absalom Daak, Dalek Killer was a great homage to the classic-era comics. Since it’s free to boot, what are you waiting for?
