Two retired detectives make their first trip to the Kentucky Book Fair and two days later they are asked to investigate a murder that happened there.  They must delve through whatever evidence they uncover and decide who among the authors who signed at the book fair, the patrons who attended, and the friends, relatives, and anyone else who knew the victim committed the murder.

The whodunit is full of the quirkiness of the two main characters, the laugh-out-loud humor, and a hard-to-figure-out mystery that readers of the series have come to expect.

  • Great Book

I am alone a lot and read a lot of different books. I enjoyed hearing Gatlinburg,TN in the story, but at the end when it was my hometown Sevierville, TN. It was good. I have lived here since ‘75, but my late husband was born and raised here, but spent 21 years in the US. Navy.
  • A Thinking Mystery

This was a great mystery. The title was what caused my curiosity and the cover picture almost shot that down. It made me think 'nonfiction'. This story is very good. It has a variety of characters that you get to know. The story line is interesting. And the mystery killer is finally revealed at the end. You find yourself thinking 'who is the killer?'. A really good read!!
