Chloe Kallistrate is a Vampire Hunter.
Born from the blood of angels and gods, she finds that being a Hunter isn't something you learn, it is something you are ... whether you like it or not.
After losing her mother one horrible night, she is thrust into a world of vampires and those that hunt them, a world where she isn't sure she belongs. Tragedy forced this life on her, but the answers she seeks about her mother lie in the grandfather she's never met before.
The trouble is, what she discovers could mean that she has to kill the very thing that created her.
The Vampire Hunter's Daughter is a novella series with six parts. The Arcadia Falls Chronicles (Currently ten books) is the continuation of The Vampire Hunter's Daughter story and contains the same characters, as well as following the same story line.

I totally enjoyed the entire series and intend on purchasing more of her series. Am so pleased Jennifer is a nighthawk like I used to be. I had a brain hemorrhage in 1996 so I totally enjoy reading this type of material...YEAH!!!
  • Interesting story line but very predictable

This book starts out with action and I was excited to keep reading but after the first section my excitement turned to eye rolls. Although the origins of the vampire hunters is something new the rest of the story is very stereotypical. Add a main character who is 14 going on 15 but is now somehow in a love triangle and the whole world rests on her shoulders and that she's the "chosen one" and you get every vampire hunter story out there. The book was a quick read but there was so much filler and the ending was so fast and anticlimactic that I quickly lost interest. I wish authors would stop writing stories about these young teens and then giving them such adult themes. What is the point of repeatedly mentioning her age and then making her sound like some hardcore killer?

Good twist from normal vampire reads. Three quarters of this book is fast paced and a no put down read. End lacked character maturity after so many intense situations.
  • Totally awesome
