  • It's an amazing book but, the format please fix it!!!

    By Dracont
Please fix this format is a shame that a wonderful book is nothing more than a PDF format with some page animations for iBooks, doesn't have the options for change font etc. It's 2016 and Apple like most of the wine stores is about elegance not mediocrity.
  • Not Ready

This looks like a fantastic book, but in viewing the sample, it appears the format is pdf rather than iBook format. It is practically unusable as such. If the publisher fixes this problem,I will purchase the book.

PLEAAAAAASE UPDATE THIS!!!! This is an atrocity. This book needs to be adapted to iBooks so I can create bigger letters or smaller and all the functions of iBooks. This is like a PDF but worse bc you can only view in Landscape but messily. PLEASE FIX
  • Not an iBook

Can barely even read the book, it's so small on my iPad. Probably best just to read the website instead.
  • Get the Hard Copy!

I pre-ordered this book because I am a Wine Folly website fan. The book looks wonderful but the iBooks version is fixed layout. I was trying to read it on an 11” MacBook Air and the text was too teeny tiny for me to read. (This type of layout doesn’t zoom and the text doesn’t flow like most digital books so basically, the approx 9” high book page was displayed in a 5 1/4” space.) I think I probably could have read it with a full-sized iPad if you can orient it the long way (don’t know whether you can or not) but I wouldn’t try it with any device smaller unless you are really good at reading tiny text. I asked for a refund and plan to get the paperback version instead.
  • Excellent!

This book is recommended for any person who enjoys wine. It is an Essential Guide as its own title suggests.
  • NOT an iBook it's a PDF!

Not optimized for ebooks at all. Feels like a giant PDF file that's been send around the web and back. Plus, you have to view it in landscape. Don't waste your money buy the hard copy. Shame on the publisher for releasing a 2001 format. This is 2015 this format should not be allowed in iBooks! It's really sad cuz the book is good but this format will consistently give it 1 star. What a waste of money!!!
  • Cheers!

Outstanding presentation, really enjoying the book. Wine Folly shines as usual in this comprehensive guide. Even introductory level information that I've already learned feels revitalized and new again through their compelling style of graphics and illustrations. I think all levels of wine enthusiasts can find value in what Wine Folly has produced here. The page layout on my 6+ is a little clunky---but it fits and flows just right on my iPad. And either way, its a totally fair price for the value in volume of information available here. I look forward to a digital 'Wine Folly, World Atlas of Wine'! (Please!)
  • Page size not optimized for iBook

    By jnaiguy
The low rating is due to the page format of the book, not the content. I'm reading the book on an iPhone 6 plus and I cannot get the pages to display in full screen. It seems like the page width is too wide and prevents the page from filling the height of the screen without cutting off texts on the left and right side. Not being able to read the book in full screen is annoying and just unacceptable considering the cost of the book. Please fix it!
