  • Description

This is the diary of Burn Rivers.

Bernadette Rivers has had enough. Always the fat friend and fat twin, she's ready to be more.
This summer she's going to lose the weight that's been holding her back.
As determined as she is, Burn knows she can't do it alone.
Enter Warren Grey; ex-high school hottie and stereotypical jock. He is everything that tormented her about high school but she knows he's exactly what she needs.
With a distant mother, a sister with poor taste, a polar opposite best friend and enough insecurities to fill the Grand Canyon, can she learn to love the skin she's in?

And then, of course, there's Fred.

Once I started I couldn't finish. Hands down one of the best I've yet to read in a long time.

I can't put into words how amazing this book was...I cried a few times, and screamed. I got sad. And angry, especially when the book was over. I'm a twin myself and me and my sister look nothing alike. I've always been super skinny and she was sort-of fat (I hate saying that about her, but it's true) and she's lost so much weight, and I couldn't be more proud, and she has so much friends and guys all over her and I have no one. I eat more than I used to. I find myself eating only one meal a day sometimes, but when I do, I eat a lot. I hate it. I know I'm gaining weight. I guess I'm still "skinny" but I find myself always sucking in my stomach and I don't like changing in front of others either. I just, I loved this book. And I encourage you to read it as well because I think of myself as "the ugly twin" and I actually do run cross country, but I just, I don't know...but anyway...this book was amazing and I can't wait till December when I can read the second book!!😊

I enjoyed reading this book immensely, everything from the self discovery to the cliff hanger ending. I'm really sad that the release date for the next book keeps changing, as this is a story I don't want to endπŸ˜‚

I read the whole 500 page book in five days that's a new record for me by the way. Every time when I would start reading this book everyone would question why I would read it . Because the title says the diary of a fat girl and I've never been fat my entire life. This book is really empowering I was really connected with the character I felt like I was actually in her shoes well I've been in her shoes. That's why I read the book and the first time I downloaded the book I just had it there until I needed storage on my phone but once I tapped on it I just couldn't stop reading it. Every time I turned the page I was on the edge of my seat. We all know in the title it says "fat girl" but it doesn't matter if your fat or skinny or if ur a guy or a girl . The overall meaning is to love your body and be true to yourself and no matter what don't let anyone change that! πŸ™πŸ‘±πŸ½β€β™€οΈ #stayblessed

This book was absolutely amazing. I am currently a teenager and as far as I can see, not a lot of teenagers read anymore...but this book kept me engaged the whole time. LOVED IT!!! 😁

Very simplistic story line. The plot felt more like a TV show than a book. The writing was sloppy; riddled with typos and the farther you got in to the book the less detailed the story became. I preordered the second book only to find out who her father is. If it had been a penny more than $2.99 I wouldn't have bothered. I've read better works on fan fiction websites.

It was a good book and I couldn't stop reading it but the reason I gave it 4 stars is because there was a couple of grammar mistakes.
